  • High school in industrial electronics at Cluj-Napoca; graduation in 1983; University “Babes-Bolyai” Cluj-Napoca, Department of History and Philosophy (1984-1988); graduation in 1988 with the highest qualifications; chief promotion on Romania;
  • Post-graduate school of history and philology, University “Babes-Bolyai” (1991-1993); graduation in 1994 with the highest qualifications;
  • Doctor in Philosophy (Ontology and Metaphysics) at the University “Babes-Bolyai”, Department of History and Philosophy (1996);
  • Present-day status: senior researcher Ist class at the Institute of History “George Barit”, Department of Philosophy, Romanian Academy, branch of Cluj-Napoca. Director of the local research project The Romanian philosophy in Transylvania – unpublished manuscripts (2003-2007) and director of the international research project National values – European values in Romania and Republic Moldova within the process of enlargement of the European Union (2006-2008) – in collaboration with the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law Sciences in Chisinau, Academy of Sciences of Republic Moldova. Member of the Romanian Academy team grant Romanian Ideas and Values within the European Philosophical Paradigm (2005-2007).Main fields of specialization: Philosophy of science, Ontology, History of Romanian philosophy;
